NuPay NAEDO
NuPay Naedo Debit order instructions are submitted for processing early morning
with multiple presentations over a user defined tracking period.
The types of accounts that can be debited are:
The user can select an account-tracking period of a number of days, after initial
due date, for the presentation of the debit order instruction. This will result
in multiple presentations of the debit order to the account until sufficient funds
are available to complete the transaction successfully or when the tracking period
lapses.
The debit order instruction may be captured via the NuPay tsp website as a single
instruction or as a multiple instruction with instalments.
The user can edit the debit order instruction via the NuPay tsp website up to one
day before transaction date thus ensuring transaction success. The changes that
can be made to the debit order instruction include:
The debit order instruction can also be cancelled. The user as part of his business
practice, should encourage all clients who expect to have insufficient funds in
their account on transaction due date, to request changes in time to avoid transaction
failure.
The value added SMS option will enable the user to notify clients of the debit order
due date and amount to be debited.
Should there be insufficient funds in the account then the debit order payment instruction
will be represented during the tracking period selected by the Merchant for retries.
Should sufficient funds become available in the account during the tracking period
the transaction will be successful.
If during the tracking period the account has insufficient funds the debit order
instruction will be returned as unsuccessful.
NuPay tsp submit these debit order payment instructions one day before transaction
date to enable BankServ to process these debits on time.
NuPay can facilitate the application process on behalf of users with ABSA and FNB Banks. To fully assess and support user requirements for debit order facilities we would require copies of the following items listed below.
