Credit Card Account Debit
Credit Card debit order payment instructions are processed against credit card accounts multiple times during the day. The types of accounts that can be debited are:
The debit order instruction may be captured via the NuPay tsp website as a single
instruction or as a multiple instruction with instalments.
Credit Card Numbers change after the expiry of the card. The change is dynamically
updated for the remaining multiple instalments that were originally loaded.
The debit will process successfully on transaction due date, provided that there
is sufficient credit available, in the clients credit card account.
The user can edit the debit order instruction via the NuPay tsp website up to one
day before transaction date thus ensuring transaction success. The changes that
can be made to the debit order instruction include:
The debit order instruction can also be cancelled.
The user as part of his business practice, should encourage all clients who expect
to have insufficient funds in their account on transaction due date, to request
changes in time to avoid transaction failure.
The value added SMS option will enable the user to notify clients of the debit order
due date and amount to be debited. This enables clients to ensure that sufficient
funds are in their account to cover the debit amount or for them to notify the user
in time for changes to be made to the debit order instruction.
