Basic System Functionality


The NuPay tsp solution provides approved participating entities access to all Banks and their subsidiaries in the South African Rand monetary area.

The basic functionality enables the user of the solution to generate a debit order payment instruction on authorisation from the user's client via a signed mandate.

The types of accounts that can be debited are:

  • Current Account (Cheque Account)
  • Savings Account
  • Transmission Account
  • Credit Card Account

The solution is web based which enables the user to optimally manage their debit order book at any time. There are various service types within the NuPay tsp solution to address a customers EFT needs.

  • Transaction ware-housing - Central data base
  • Transactions with variable dates
  • Payment Instructions with multiple instalments
  • WEB Based reporting

The WEB BASED reports enable the user to track the progress of the transaction through the following stages:

  • Transactions Submitted by NuPaytsp to the Financial Institutions
  • Future transaction to be submitted by NuPaytsp to the Financial Institutions
  • Successful transactions
  • Failed transactions
  • Cancelled transactions

The WEB BASED reports are also a valuable means to forecasting and the management of exceptions.

  • WEB Based editor

The WEB Editor enables the user to make changes to the Payment Instruction before NuPaytsp uploads the transactions to the Financial Institutions

Allowable changes include:

  • Account Number
  • Account Type
  • Branch Code
  • Amount
  • Date of Transaction
  • Cancellation of future payments

The NuPay tsp WEBSITE is a secure website.
On becoming a NuPay tsp user, a user code and password is issued enabling the user access to their own information.

Multiple staff can be issued with user codes and passwords with limited or full viewing rights.

The WEBSITE contains an audit trail which enables users to track responsibility of changes.
